Cottolengo sisters in Moth-Jhansi
The Catholic Diocese of Jhansi, with its evangelical thrust through apostolate, to make Jesus, His Church and the plan of salvation, people has established a mission in Moth in the District of Jhansi..Sisters are invited to share in the Church’s mission in moth, to take part in the teaching Apostolate of the school, to do home visiting and do social works, staying and witnessing Christ, residing in the convent built in the place allotted for that purpose.
We are invited to open a community of sisters and erect a convent, with the view to collaborate, to share and participate in the mission of the church according to our Charism, In Moth mission and its surrounding villages in the district of Jhansi. Our apostolate to form the young ones in truth, justice and social equality with value based formation. The community in known as St. John Paul 11nd convent blessed on 8th June 2016.Sisters in the community is working as teachers in the Parish school and social worker in the Diocese.
